RetroDriller Fastener
The OMG RetroDriller Fastener with drill point is designed for attaching single-ply membrane systems to structural steel purlins (up to 5 mm) in standing seam metal roof retrofit applications. RetroDriller Fasteners are available in six lengths from 100 mm to 255 mm.

- The 13 mm length drill point allows the fastener to be drilled through the purlin before the threads engage into the standing seam metal roof.
- Designed to reduce point burnout and breakage as well as eliminate "jacking" between purlin and standing seam metal.
- Low profile head has a smooth surface to ensure that there is no damage to the membrane.
Product Use
OMG RetroDrillers must penetrate through the purlin in a minimum of 25 mm (1-in.). Using a screw gun with a maximum of 1800 RPM, drive the fastener through the purlin until a slight depression is seen around the plate.
NOTE: Caution should be taken not to overdrive the fastener causing stress plate and surface to deflect more than 1.6 mm (1/16-in.).
