Aluminum Classic Roof Drain
The Aluminum Classic New Connection Drain is designed for use in new roof construction and can also be used in re-roofing applications. Manufactured from spun aluminum, its one-piece construction is designed for quick installation to the existing drain leader. Available in 3-in., 4-in., and 6-in. sizes with several dome options including OMG’s exclusive vortex breaker strainer.
Features & Benefits
- One-piece seamless body is made from 0.125-in., 11 gauge aluminum for strength and durability without separation of the flange from the stem.
- Heavy-duty cast aluminum strainer dome and clamping ring are durable and ensure a uniform compression of the membrane.
- No-hub coupler has stainless steel bands that connect with PVC or cast iron plumbing, and will work with schedule 40 or 80 water leaders.
Product Use
The Aluminum Classic New Connection Drain is designed for installation in roof areas that pond water or in new roof construction. The drain comes complete with strainer, clamp ring and no-hub banded coupler.
As with all building materials it is the responsibility of the installer to review its usage with a design professional to confirm safety, compatibility and acceptance with the roof cover manufacturer as well as local building codes.
