OlyBond500® Roof Insulation Adhesives
OlyBond500 Roof Insulation Adhesive is a fast-acting, two-component, low-rise polyurethane foam adhesive designed to secure insulation to roof decks. OlyBond is available in several packaging configurations to accommodate diverse market needs. OlyBond500 is available in pressurized Canister Sets, SpotShot Cartridges, 10-gallon Bag-in-Box sets as well as in 15-gallon drums. OlyBond Classic is available in 15- and 50-gallon drums. Regardless of project size or complexity, we have an OlyBond option that will work. With nearly 3 billion square feet installed, OlyBond is the most trusted name in roof insulation adhesives. OlyBond is FM approved and is also available in regular and cold weather formulations. It’s the ideal insulation adhesive for new or re-roofing projects.

Product Selection
Product Use
OlyBond500 is dispensed in a semi-liquid bead that spreads to several inches before rising 3/4- to 1-inch above the substrate. The board stock is placed into the adhesive and walked into place. A chemical cure takes place in approximately 4 to 8 minutes after application, depending on weather conditions. The adhesive is light pink in color.
When applying adhesive from canisters, the end of the mix tip or the extension tube should be no more than 4 to 6-inches above the surface of the roof.
