#12 Standard RoofGrip Drill Point Fastener
The OMG Standard Roofing Fastener (#12), with deep buttress thread for high pullout resistance, is designed to secure insulation to standard steel (18 ga. - 24 ga.) and wood. It is available in lengths from 1 5/8-in. to 8-in., and also as an Assembled Screw and Plate (OMG ASAP) with either an OMG 3-in. Galvalume plate or an OMG 3-in. Plastic Locking Plate.

Product Use
Prior to job start, always contact OMG to perform a pull out test to determine deck suitability and pullout values.
The OMG Standard Fasteners must penetrate steel decks a minimum of 3/4-in. (20mm), wood plank decks a minimum of 1-in. (25mm) and plywood a minimum of 1/2-in. (13mm).
Factory Mutual requires that fasteners penetrate steel decks at the top flute.
Avoid overdriving the fastener or fracturing the skin of the insulation. Fastener must be tight enough so that the plate doesn't turn.
